Yumiko Asano joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 1995 and has over 27 years of experience in regulatory affairs, responsible for IND/CTA (US/EU/JP/RoW), health authority consultations/interactions (FDA/EMA/MHRA/MHLW/PMDA), and NDA/BLA filings (JP). This includes two years of international assignments at Roche Basel, Switzerland (2010-2011) and three years at Chugai Pharma Europe, UK (2014-2017). She served as Head of Regulatory Affairs from April 2019 to June 2022, before transitioning to her current position as Head of Chugai Partnering in October 2022.
