Dr. Liu is currently serving as the Director-General at the Department of Medical Affairs in the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan (R.O.C.). Her jobs entails formulating policies and laws related to healthcare, strategic planning and guidance for healthcare services in the country and promoting the biotechnology innovations in healthcare. Meanwhile, she is a attending physician of Emergency Department at National Taiwan University Hospital. As a physician, she has been one of the pioneers in Pediatric Emergency Medicine in Taiwan. She has contributed to improve the quality of care on emergency medical system services, especially for children, and enhance the efficiency of public services. Meanwhile, the need for alleviating the medical legal conflicts between various stakeholders led her to pursue and earn a Master in Law in 2016.
