Yoseph is a passionate entrepreneur with a background in biomedical engineering and business from Johns Hopkins University. Yoseph previously worked as a Usability Engineer intern at the Seoul National University Hospital Usability Testing Center and as a marketing intern at Viva Innovation, an app-based healthcare startup. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Optosurgical, where the mission is to improve patient health outcomes by researching and developing new intraoperative imaging technologies. Yoseph drives operational strategy and company growth in accordance with Optosurgical’s overall goal to boost safety and confidence in fluorescence-guided surgeries. Yoseph has secured over $9M in non-dilutive funding (NIH, ARPA-H) to support the R&D and commercialization of next generation surgical solutions, including the development of a non-invasive, real-time camera and biliary-specific fluorescent contrast agent.
