Dr. Yoon-Jeong Park is the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of NIBEC and a Professor at Seoul National University (SNU). She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, followed by pivotal roles as a Research Professor at the University of Michigan and Principal Investigator at ISTN Inc. until 2003. Since joining the faculty at Seoul National University (SNU), Korea, her research has pioneered peptide-based drug delivery systems and biomaterials. In 2004, she co-founded NIBEC as an SNU spin-off, driving its evolution into a clinical-stage biotechnology leader. An accomplished scientist and entrepreneur, Dr. Park has published over 140 peer-reviewed papers, holds 50+ international patents, and has successfully led over 10 technology transfers and 10 commercial product registrations. At NIBEC, she spearheads the development of advanced therapeutics for fibrosis, obesity, and oncology, leveraging the proprietary AI-assisted TOPscovery platform. Her strategic oversight spans innovative peptide-drug delivery systems, regenerative biomaterials commercialization, and high-value international licensing partnerships with global pharmaceutical entities.
