Dr. Yongtae Kim graduated from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University. After working as a senior researcher at Hyundai Motor Company and Samsung Electronics for seven years, he continued his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University for his research on embryonic tissue on microchips and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Langer Laboratory, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems under the guidance of Dr. Robert Langer. Dr. Kim is currently the CEO of Mepsgen and a Professor of Bioengineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
