Floreo
Vijay Ravindran is the founder and CEO of Floreo, a virtual reality-based digital therapeutic company developing FDA-regulated software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) treatments for autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Under his leadership, Floreo has earned FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, completed a gold-standard pivotal randomized controlled trial demonstrating statistically significant clinical outcomes, and surpassed $1M in revenue while serving thousands of learners across clinics, schools, and homes. The company is actively pursuing FDA De Novo clearance and expanding into adjacent areas including ADHD (in partnership with the NIH), eye-gaze diagnostics (via the acquisition of Cleveland Clinic's Autism Eyes technology), and international markets across the Middle East /GCC.
Prior to founding Floreo, Vijay spent more than two decades building and scaling consumer technology platforms at the intersection of software, data, and large-scale operations. He served as Chief Digital Officer of The Washington Post, where he led the company's digital transformation, and earlier held senior software engineering and product leadership roles at Amazon, where he led the launch of Amazon Prime. He brings to Floreo a rare combination of consumer-scale product expertise, regulated-industry rigor, and personal mission — the company was inspired by his experience as a parent of a child on the autism spectrum.
