Dr Uli Forster leads the infectious diseases team at Shionogi Europe, where she has responsibility for driving commercial strategy for the company’s anti-infective medicines portfolio. Prior to joining Shionogi, Dr Forster spent five years as a strategic consultant for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. A scientist by training, she gained her MSc., in neuroscience at UCL, before being awarded a PhD in developmental cell biology from Cambridge University, after which she completed post-doctoral research in cell biology at the Max Delbruck Centre in Berlin.
