Susan serves as Executive Director of the National Coalition for Infant Health, a collaborative of professional, clinical, community and family support organizations focused on education and advocacy promoting patient-centered care for all infants and their families. She is also a partner and senior vice president at Woodberry Associates, a Washington, DC-based public affairs firm specializing in advocacy coalition management. Susan helps clients both in the US and globally to develop stakeholder engagement initiatives and advocacy strategies. Susan brings more than 15 years of advocacy and communications experience to the National Coalition for Infant Health. She previously served in various presidential and gubernatorial campaign communications roles, executing aggressive communication and earned media campaigns, and managing relationships with national and international media. Susan holds a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism.
