Su-Kyeong Hwang is an MD, PhD, and board certified in pediatrics and pediatric neurology. She conducted epilepsy genetics research at Fukuoka University in Japan and earned a PhD in 2012. Since 2016, she has worked as a professor at a national university hospital in the Republic of Korea, treating patients with pediatric neurological diseases and genetic diseases. She founded Astrogen in 2017 and is developing treatments for various intractable neurological diseases.
