Dr. Zorn is a neuropharmacologist with over 30 years of experience in drug discovery and development for neurological and psychiatric disorders. He co-founded MindImmune Therapeutics in 2016 after serving as Executive Vice President and Site Head of Neuroscience Research at Lundbeck Research USA, where he also sat on the Global Research and R&D Executive Committees. At Lundbeck, he led a pioneering consortium integrating immunology, inflammation, and neuroscience to explore neuroinflammation’s role in CNS diseases. Previously, Dr. Zorn spent nearly two decades at Pfizer Global R&D, holding leadership roles including Global Head of Neuroscience Research and Vice President of CNS Disorders Research. He was instrumental in advancing numerous drug candidates into clinical development, with several reaching late-stage trials or commercialization. Currently, Dr. Zorn is a Ryan Research Professor of Neuroscience at the George & Anne Ryan Institute for Neuroscience and an Adjunct Full Professor at the University of Rhode Island’s College of Pharmacy. He holds a BS in Chemistry from Lafayette College and MS/Ph.D. degrees in Neurotoxicology and Neuropharmacology from the University of Texas. He completed postdoctoral research at The Rockefeller University under Nobel Laureate Paul Greengard.
