With a career spanning over 15 years in the Animal Health Industry, Steve Nanchen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and further enriched his expertise during a postdoctoral tenure at Stanford University in the US. Steve embarked on his industrial journey as a medicinal chemist at Novartis Animal Health, later transitioning to Elanco Animal Health. His career path has seen him occupy various roles within R&D, where he has successfully led global projects across all stages, from Discovery to late phase Development. For the past five years, Steve has been working the External Innovation team at Elanco Animal Health, stepping into the leadership role in 2022. During the course of his work, Steve contributed to the successful development and launch of several key Animal Health products.
