Shiv Krishnan leads the Early-Stage Search & Evaluation function within Global Business Development, partnering with Research, Development, and Manufacturing to identify and evaluate innovative technology opportunities.
Prior to Daiichi Sankyo, Dr. Krishnan led External Innovation at Lonza BioR&D, overseeing a global team scouting next-generation manufacturing technologies across biologics, gene and cell therapies, and emerging modalities.
Previously, he spent more than two decades at Sanofi and its legacy companies across R&D, alliance management, and business development & licensing, with experience spanning biologics, nucleic acid vaccines, gene therapy, small molecules, and cellular therapies.
Dr. Krishnan earned a B.Sc. in Zoology from American College, Madurai, India, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France.
