Sheila Gujrathi, MD currently serves as a chairwoman, board director and strategic advisor to multiple start-up companies and healthcare funds. She is chair of Ventyx, ADARx, ImmPACT, and director of Janux. She previously served as chair of Turning Point (acquired by BMS) and is the co-founder and former CEO of Gossamer. Prior to Gossamer, she served as CMO of Receptos (acquired by Celgene). Prior to her roles in small companies, she was the Immunology TA Head at BMS and grew up at Genentech. Earlier in her career, she was a McKinsey consultant and physician with training at the Brigham, UCSF and Stanford. She received her MD and BS in biomedical engineering in the seven-year honors program in medical education at Northwestern.
