Shashi K. Ramaiah, DVM, MVSc, PhD, DACVP, DABT, is a preclinical and translational safety leader with deep expertise across toxicology, pathology, biomarkers, and contemporary NAMs. As Founder and CEO of SPECCRO Inc., he integrates traditional pharmacology, ADME/PK, toxicology, and pathology with advanced in vitro, AI/ML, and computational platforms to deliver IND and FIH ready safety and efficacy assessments. Prior to founding SPECCRO, he spent nearly two decades at Pfizer, most recently overseeing multidisciplinary laboratory groups as Vice President and Global Head of Discovery, Investigative, and Translational Sciences, guiding many programs from discovery through late development. He is widely recognized for advancing programs by applying drug development expertise across domains and leveraging contemporary technologies and tools to strengthen translational safety science.
