Sebastien Latapie is a Partner at Avant Bio, a venture fund investing in life science industrials - the enabling technologies and "picks and shovels" powering biopharma discovery, development, and manufacturing. At Avant Bio he sources, leads diligence, and executes investments spanning AI-driven platforms, lab automation, bioprocessing, and advanced therapy manufacturing. He has led investments including PathPresenter, Intrepid Labs, and Nomic, and serves on the boards of PathPresenter. He also manages strategic LP relationships with global biopharma partners. Sebastien holds an MBA from Columbia and graduate degrees in biochemistry and immunology from McGill.
