Scott has over 20 years of experience in health economics, specializing in econometric analyses of large databases, discrete choice analysis and design of prospective experiments, modeling, pricing, and policy analysis. Scott has multiple models published in infectious disease, including in HCV and HIV. He has over 45 publications on health economics in Health Affairs, Value in Health, JAMA Ophthalmology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, PharmacoEconomics, and the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law. Scott has a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Managerial Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.H.A. from the Medical College of Virginia. Scott is a Principal at Medicus Economics LLC.
Scott has been a panelist at ISPOR, the Duke Margolis Center, and ASCO. Scott recently (November 2022) was a panel moderator at European ISPOR on Alzheimer’s modeling. He has taught multiple guest lectures at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia.
