Sarit Batsir

I am Dr. Sarit Batsir, Founder and CEO of Dio-Tree, a precision oncology company developing a first-in-class therapeutic approach for ovarian cancer by targeting the DIO3 enzyme. My focus is on building a company that translates strong biological insight into a differentiated, high-value clinical asset. My background uniquely combines deep scientific expertise with proven commercial execution. I earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and over the past decade I have worked across the full oncology value chain — from clinical research and medical affairs in breast and ovarian cancer, to strategic business development and commercialization. As VP of Business Development at Hadasit, Hadassah Medical Center TTO, I led technology evaluation, fundraising, and out-licensing activities, securing 7.7M $ in funding and contributing to the establishment of four new companies within one year. At Dio-Tree, I lead corporate strategy, scientific development, fundraising, and partnerships. We have advanced our program efficiently, reaching key milestones with lean resource management and a clear development roadmap. I am building Dio-Tree with a strong focus on value inflection points, strategic collaborations, and disciplined capital deployment — with the goal of delivering both meaningful patient impact and strong investor returns.
