Samuel "Sandy" Aronson is the President and Chief AI Officer of AIwithCare, where he oversees the development of AI products designed to facilitate clinical trials and programs. Concurrently, he serves as a Principal Architect for Mass General Brigham Digital Research, focusing on the expansion of AI-based research capabilities.
Sandy is the former Executive Director of IT and AI Solutions for Mass General Brigham Personalized Medicine. In this role, he led teams developing technologies to improve clinical processes across genetics, remote health, and decentralized clinical trials. This included the RECTIFIER technology that became the basis of AIwithCare. His team also built the GeneInsight Suite, a registered medical device, and created infrastructure to support genetic-based personalized medicine. GeneInsight used clinical testing data to continuously advance the understanding of genetic variation and was ultimately acquired by Sunquest.
Prior to his roles at Mass General Brigham, Mr. Aronson consulted for the biotechnology industry at Tribiosys, held several positions at Sapient Corporation, and served as a Strategic Consultant for Monitor Company. He also founded LearningAction, a web-based training company now part of Best Software. He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a Master’s degree in Biology from the Harvard Extension School.
