Dr. Samantha Dale Strasser, CSO and Co-founder, developed the foundation to Pepper’s technology while an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at MIT. Prior to her doctoral studies at MIT, she earned an M.Phil. in Physics at the University of Cambridge as a Churchill Scholar, and B.S. degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University. She completed her doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT under the mentorship of Douglas Lauffenburger (Professor and founder of Biological Engineering) and Kevin Haigis (Harvard Medical School), investigating phosphoproteomics interpretation applied to studies of cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
