Sagili Shan Mohan

Sagili Shan Mohan, IAS, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB), where he leads the State’s efforts to attract investments, promote industrial growth, and position Andhra Pradesh as a globally competitive business destination. A senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service, he has held several key positions in the Government of Andhra Pradesh across sectors including industry, infrastructure, urban development, and governance. At APEDB, he plays a central role in driving strategic initiatives across high-growth sectors such as biotechnology, electronics, advanced manufacturing, and logistics. He has been instrumental in strengthening investor outreach, facilitating large-scale investments, and advancing policy frameworks that enhance ease of doing business in the State. Under his leadership, Andhra Pradesh is actively building a robust innovation ecosystem, with a focus on emerging areas such as biomanufacturing, life sciences infrastructure, and next-generation technologies. Known for his execution-driven approach and strong stakeholder engagement, Shan Mohan has contributed to several flagship initiatives aimed at accelerating economic development and job creation. He works closely with industry leaders, global partners, and government institutions to enable integrated, future-ready industrial ecosystems aligned with national priorities and global best practices.
