Saakshi is a Vice President at Locust Walk, where she brings life science strategy expertise and thought leadership to support public and private companies across various sizes, stages of development, and therapeutic areas in executing a wide range of strategic transactions and private capital raises. In addition to transaction advisory, she brings leadership in corporate development and strategy as well as new company creation initiatives. Furthermore, as a co-leader of the internal technical diligence committee, she plays an instrumental role in evaluating potential opportunities.
Before joining Locust Walk, Saakshi was a team leader at Health Advances, a global healthcare management and strategy consulting firm, where she specialized in biopharma strategy and led various engagements for biopharma and biotech companies, as well as biotech/healthcare investors, helping them make data-driven corporate development and investment decisions.
Saakshi is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and holds a Ph.D. in Oncology from the University of Cambridge, UK and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Warwick, UK.
