Ryan Metheny is the Head of US Market Access at Kite, a Gilead Company. In this role, Ryan leads a team of Market Access professionals responsible for strategic account engagement (payers, national accounts, GPOs, oncology networks, etc.), trade and distribution strategy & relations, strategic pricing & contracting, payer and provider access strategy & marketing, the KiteKonnect platform, site expansion and onboarding, and Kite’s travel & lodging and other customer support programs.
Ryan is an experienced commercial leader with nearly 25 years of experience across the US commercial spectrum in the biopharmaceutical space. He spent nearly 17 years at Amgen where he held roles of increasing responsibility across a variety of therapeutic areas in Marketing, Sales, Brand & Franchise Strategy, Pricing & Contracting, and Market Access. He also spent time at Eli Lilly and Company and Sobi, NA. Ryan earned an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Duke University.
