Dr. Matner earned a doctorate in Molecular Biology and Biophysics from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY and a Masters of Business Administration in International Marketing from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. Following extensive experience as research scientist, product development specialist and marketing and business manager within the Health Care division of the 3M Corporation, inventing and commercializing numerous healthcare products, Dr. Matner subsequently served as Director of Technology Transfer and Commercial Development for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center where he managed all commercialization activities originating from Roswell Park; spinning out nine startup companies in the process. Dr. Matner holds nine patents. He is currently President and Chief Strategy Officer for PlantPharm Biomed, Ltd.
