Rich is EY’s Life Sciences Assurance leader for the Americas and also leads EY's West Region life sciences practice. He is an audit partner with over 30 years of experience serving life sciences companies ranging from large, multinational corporations to privately-held startups. Rich has significant SEC experience and has assisted clients with numerous initial and secondary offerings. As part of his various leadership roles Rich is part of EY’s US Assurance Leadership team and co-leads EY’s US Life Sciences Board, which is responsible for understanding market trends and how they impact the EY life sciences practice, prioritizing the allocation of resources, and assessing and advising on acquisitions and investment opportunities. Rich is also responsible for the coordination and execution of audit, tax, and consulting services across our life sciences practice. Rich has authored numerous articles and is quoted frequently on matters relevant to the biotech industry and is a frequent speaker on emerging trends in life sciences. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
