Qinghua Wang

Dr. Qinghua Wang is a Doctoral Supervisor, National Special Expert, and Fudan University Distinguished Professor. He serves as Deputy Director of the Fudan University Institute of Endocrinology and Diabetes. As Principal Investigator, he led national key projects under the “Major New Drug Creation” Science and Technology Program during both the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans in China. His scholarly distinction is reflected in prestigious international fellowships and leadership roles, including Canada Foundation for Innovation scholar, Canadian Diabetes Association Scholar, Banting & Best Diabetes Centre Scholar, and Chief Scientist of a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International Grant. Dr. Wang has served on expert review panels for China NMPA, National Key R&D Programs, NSFC Key Program Grants, and major national talent initiatives—including the Changjiang Scholars Program and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. His research group focuses on translational medicine in metabolic disorders. He serves as an external reviewer for peer-review funding agencies such as the NIH, JDRF, UK MRC, and Canadian CIHR, and as a member of the editorial boards of multiple high-impact scientific journals. He is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Yinuo Pharmaceuticals, and the inventor of several first-in-class therapeutics, including Ifsubalutide α—a novel long-acting GLP-1RA.
