Current member of AbbVie's S&E Neuroscience Team, with >10 years of neuroscience and biotech strategy experience, including PhD at Georgia Tech and Emory University, followed by the transition to Boston Consulting Group focused on biotech strategy. My search and evaluation efforts focus on the investigation of strategic opportunities for in-licensing early- and late-stage clinical assets, co-promotion/co-marketing partnerships, and acquisitions in diverse disease areas with a focus on CNS disorders. Within Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative diseases, I lead the efforts for AbbVie's acquisition of Aliada Therapeutics for next generation anti-amyloid antibody therapies and BBB crossing platform. Our S&E group evaluates all opportunities in Neuroscience and depending on the stage of the opportunity, we work with Ventures, BD or Technology Licensing Group Transaction Teams.
