Dr. Pei-Jung Lu currently serves as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) under the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Taiwan, and as a Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Cheng Kung University. Dr. Lu contributes to shaping Taiwan’s science and technology policy landscape by inter-ministerial coordination and policy integration, facilitating collaboration among government agencies, regulators, academia, and industry to support the development of biomedical and agricultural technologies. His work includes promoting strategies in health data utilization, Age-Tech development, home-based healthcare technologies, and AI–semiconductor integration in biomedical applications, with the goal of strengthening Taiwan’s innovation ecosystem and advancing the vision of a Healthy Taiwan.
