Pam Andrews brings 30 years of experience developing and implementing results-driven strategies to solve complex problems and advance organizational goals in the public and private sectors, focusing on healthcare. Her expertise spans business development, strategic initiatives, public policy development and implementation, and coalition building, delivering practical solutions that inform decision-making and drive meaningful outcomes for clients.
Pam began her public service career in Washington, DC, holding roles at the White House and the Texas Office for State-Federal Relations, before returning home to Austin to shape healthcare policy for the State of Texas in the early 90's. Pam served as Committee Clerk for the Texas Senate Committee on Health and Human Services and Chief Clerk for the Texas House Committee on Public Health. There, she led stakeholder engagement and contributed to numerous reports strengthening public health infrastructure in the state. She also managed a statewide initiative that helped establish Texas’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
In 2017, following her daughters’ diagnoses with Niemann-Pick Disease Type C (NPC), Pam co-founded the Firefly Fund. As Executive Director, she leads national efforts to integrate NPC into the healthcare system and modernize screening systems in the United States. Appointed in 2026 to the Texas Drug Utilization Review Board, she also serves on the Texas Newborn Screening Advisory Committee, advancing policies to improve early diagnosis and access to treatment for rare diseases.
