Dr. Pablo Buitron de la Vega, MD, MSc, is a general internist and preventive medicine physician who is passionate about addressing social and structural determinants of health (SDOH) through education and innovation with a health equity lens. At Boston Medical Center, he provides healthcare to Latinx immigrant patients and serves as the Medical Director for THRIVE, a program that helps address SDOH. Dr. Buitron de la Vega directs the Boston University School of Medicine Preventive Medicine Residency and mentors healthcare professionals committed to health equity.
