Oscar Travis is a Senior Purification Technician at Pfizer, where he specializes in downstream purification of complex organic molecules used in critical therapeutic development. He began his career through the nations first registered apprenticeship program for Biomanufacturing Technicians, gaining hands-on training on industry fundamentals and laboratory operations. After completing the program, he joined Pfizer full time, where he continues to apply and expand his technical expertise in large-scale biologics manufacturing. Though his formal education began with the apprenticeship, Oscar has built a strong professional foundation through on-the-job experience and continuous learning in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. He is currently pursuing opportunities to complete higher education degrees while maintaining full-time employment.
