Nicole is an accomplished legal professional who recently joined Merck's Global Diversity and Inclusion Center of Excellence as AVP for Diversity Strategy and Innovation. In her role, she is responsible for developing strategic initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion to prepare Merck for the future. Before her current role, Nicole worked in Merck's Office of General Counsel, where she led the Company’s Global Investigations and Labor and Employment Teams. Throughout her tenure in the Office of General Counsel, Nicole demonstrated outstanding problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across different regions and build and support the development of talent. Nicole's commitment to fostering inclusivity is evident through her involvement in the co-founding and co-chairing of the Office of General Counsel's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In addition to her professional endeavors, contributes to the community as a board member of the YWCA of Northern N.J. where she serves as the Governance Chair and prior Chair to the organization’s DEI subcommittee. Nicole holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. Nicole resides in New Jersey with her husband Tony. She is adjusting to life as an empty nester which provides more time to pursue her other interests such as reading, traveling and fitness.
