Neal Amin is an MD/PhD neuroscientist and Stanford clinician turned biotech founder, focused on translating RNA-based genetic insights into precision therapeutics for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS, neurodevelopmental disorders, and brain aging. After 20 years of academic research at Columbia, Stanford, and the Salk Institute, he launched Sculpta, Inc. to pursue translational impact in neuroscience. His research spans ALS, single-cell transcriptomics, and human brain organoid modeling, with publications in Nature, Cell, and Science. He has collaborated with scientific leaders including Marc Tessier-Lavigne, Samuel Pfaff, and Sergiu Pasca.
