Dr. Mike Weiler received his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was also awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Following his training in engineering and entrepreneurship at Georgia Tech, he co-founded LymphaTech and served as CEO for 12 years, leading the development of patented technologies to automate and digitize measurements for lymphedema evaluation. Under his leadership, LymphaTech secured an ARPA-H SBIR contract and a second ARPA-H award through the GLIDE program to advance innovative approaches for lymphatic disease measurement and care. The company’s software platform has helped modernize the sizing and ordering of medical compression garments and has been adopted globally across clinical settings. LymphaTech was recently acquired by Tactile Medical, marking a major milestone in expanding the reach of its technology to improve care for patients with lymphedema.
