Maud is the Managing Director and co-founder of Lixa, an Australian based biotechnology company developing revolutionary, broadly applicable and scalable solutions for the US$5T/annum global biofilm problem across human, animal and environmental health. She is an experienced business builder with >25 years international, multinational, listed and private executive experience in pharmaceutical (Bayer Healthcare, Molecular Pharmacology, TroponWerke), medtech, consumer healthcare and animal health sectors. She is a fervent AMR advocate and public speaker, and mother of a child who suffered for many years from a polymicrobial biofilm infection. Maud has a PhD in Neurobiology.
