Matthew F. Metzger

Matthew joined Oxford BioTherapeutics in 2022 and currently serves as Vice President of US Operations where he leads the delivery of novel preclinical target validation, ensuring scientific programs advance efficiently and align with the company’s strategic vision. He oversees cross‑functional teams spanning Antibody Discovery, Pathology, Protein Sciences, Program Management, and US based Finance, HR and Lab Operations. He completed his graduate studies at UC Berkeley and brings years of experience in technical operations to scale early-stage biotech companies. Matthew is committed to building high‑performance, collaborative technical teams while fostering a culture of operational excellence that collectively accelerates the translation of innovative targets into impactful therapies.
