Dr. Marinna Madrid is the Co-Founder of Cellino, a biotechnology company pioneering the scalable manufacturing of personalized regenerative medicines. Under her leadership, Cellino is integrating advanced laser and AI technologies to automate the production of patient-specific stem cell–derived therapies, making regenerative medicine economically viable at scale for the first time.
Dr. Madrid earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Applied Physics from Harvard University, where she co-invented novel laser-based intracellular delivery techniques that laid the foundation for Cellino’s proprietary platform. She holds a B.Sc. in Biophysics from the University of California, Los Angeles, after beginning her studies at Riverside Community College—an experience that shaped her commitment to mentorship and equitable access in science.
A recognized innovator at the intersection of physics and biotechnology, Dr. Madrid has received the Harvard Graduate Prize Fellowship, the Catalyst Accelerator Grant from Harvard Medical School, and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Healthcare. She continues to champion the convergence of deep tech and biology to make precision medicine accessible to every patient.
