A seasoned legal executive with over 15 years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, she brings deep expertise in R&D collaborations, business development, and strategic transactions. Prior to Coultreon Biopharma, Marie served as Legal Head of Research and Development at Galapagos, where she led global legal support for all R&D and business development initiatives. She played a pivotal role in structuring and negotiating complex collaborations and licensing deals that aligned early-stage innovation with long-term strategic goals. Earlier in her career, Marie practiced law at the Brussels Bar with Quinz, a top-tier Belgian law firm known for its work in the biotech and pharma sectors. She advised multinational pharma companies and emerging biotech firms on cross-border R&D partnerships, IP strategy, clinical trial frameworks, and regulatory compliance. Marie holds a Master of Laws from KU Leuven and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and ICT Law. She is recognized for her strategic legal insight, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to drive innovation through legally sound partnerships.
