Marcel is a Senior Quality Reviewer of Biopharmaceuticals (including cell and gene therapy products) at the Medicines Evaluation Board (Netherlands). He is also Chair of the EMA Quality Innovation Group. The QIG is the key entry point for pharmaceutical industry, developers, academics and other stakeholders to discuss scientific and regulatory issues on innovation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and control. Also, Marcel is involved in various research projects to support innovative approaches in manufacturing of (bio)pharmaceuticals and other regulatory activities.
