Genentech
Dr. Mahesh Yadav PhD, is a Distinguished Scientist in the Translational Medicine Oncology at Genentech, dedicated to unraveling the mechanisms by which neoantigens stimulate anti-tumor T cell responses in human cancers, with the aim of harnessing this knowledge for therapeutic applications. Currently, his efforts are concentrated on developing and testing an mRNA-based cancer vaccine designed to deliver patient-specific neoantigens, thereby initiating and enhancing T cell responses against cancers. Specifically, his team oversees immune monitoring in clinical trials, employing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to gain deeper insights into T cell responses induced by mRNA cancer vaccines in patients undergoing cancer treatment. Mahesh holds a degree in biological sciences from University of Notre Dame and did his postdoctoral work on regulation of autoimmunity at University of California San Francisco.
