Liz Clark

Liz is an international affairs and trade professional with over a decade of global expertise in program management, policy, business development, strategy, and international trade. She recently joined Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as Director for Global Policy and Government Affairs, where she leads the global policy and government engagement strategy for India, the Middle East, and other markets around the world. Previously she spent seven years at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the Middle East Department, most recently serving as Director for Middle East Affairs where she led the Chamber's programs in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Liz spearheaded the Chamber's trade policy in these markets, including launching and building the U.S.-Saudi Arabia Healthcare Working Group, which focused on enhancing healthcare collaboration, innovation, and investment between the two countries. Her leadership in healthcare policy has significantly contributed to advancing bilateral healthcare initiatives and fostering international partnerships. She also started initiatives in a wide range of other sectors throughout the Middle East, including digital economy and financial services, and has extensive experience fostering economic ties and engaging in markets on behalf of the U.S. business community. Liz has a Master of Public Policy degree from the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in history and French from the University of Utah. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Liz lives in Washington, DC with her family.
