Dr. Laura Hsieh, CEO and Co-founder, is an expert in chromatin biology with deep experience in epigenetic regulation. She completed her PhD at the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and postdoctoral training at UCSF in Dr. Geeta Narlikar’s lab. At UCSF, she made key discoveries in chromatin remodeling, including work published in Molecular Cell (2022) and SLAS Discovery (2025) that informs TippingPoint’s platform. Dr. Hsieh co-invented the company’s technology, and has complemented her scientific background with formal training in entrepreneurship through acceptance in multiple accelerator and mentorship programs. She has also received multiple top awards in pharma-sponsored pitch competitions.
