Laura Cohen currently serves as the Vice President in Eli Lilly and Company's Neuroscience Business Unit. With a robust background in health policy and management, she has held various leadership roles within Eli Lilly, focusing on access and reimbursement issues across neuroscience, pain, migraine, and immunology. Before joining Lilly, Laura practiced law in several large law firms, including Sidley Austin, LLP, where she focused her pratice in the pharmaceutical, Medicare reimbursement, and commercial health insurance spaces. She also served as in-house counsel to a Massachusetts health insurance company where she focused on regulatory and government affairs issues in the commercial health insurance market. Laura began her career in women's health policy at the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women's Health and Gender Biology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She holds a BA with honors from Brandeis University in Health Policy and History and a JD with honors from Suffolk Law School. Laura is also a published author, contributing to significant discussions on women's health reform and informed consent in community health settings.
