Lai-Lee Tan oversees IQVIA’s global clinical technology, information governance and data & analytics solutions for R&D Solutions. She plays a central role in advancing IQVIA’s evolution toward an AI-native operating model, focused on unlocking the value of data, technology, accelerating innovation, and transforming how clinical research is designed and delivered.
With more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry, Lai-Lee has held senior global leadership roles across clinical operations, project management, business management, technology and data analytics. She has led diverse, cross-functional teams across Asia, Europe, and the United States, bringing a truly global perspective shaped by her experience living and working in Singapore, China, Japan and the United States.
Lai-Lee began her career as a pharmacist before transitioning into clinical research, where she developed deep expertise in the delivery and management of clinical trials. She later led the development of innovative clinical technology solutions aimed at modernizing and transforming trial execution. Combined with extensive experience in process and organizational transformation, her career reflects a consistent focus at the intersection of science, operations, and technology.
