Kyle Jacques has been a lifelong advocate of amplifying the voices and needs of people living with diabetes. His mission-driven work in technology has included startups like mySugr where he belonged to the founding team, Bigfoot Biomedical, and TheraSense. Kyle holds leadership roles across multiple NGOs, such as VP of the International Diabetes Federation, as well as Diabetes Education and Camping Association, DiabetesWise, and INNODIA.
Living with type 1 diabetes himself for 30 years, he also supports his mother as a part-time caregiver, who lives with diabetes as well. He firmly believes that the status quo is failing people living with diabetes and that we must do better to address gaps in care, outcomes, access to medicines and quality of life.
His academic affiliations are with INSEAD and Stanford Universities.
