Kirk Davis, MSW is a Senior Manager for the Gene Therapy Program at Cigna Healthcare. In his role he oversees the program strategy and implementation inclusive of provider contracting, pipeline monitoring, communication strategies and case management integration. He is passionate about gene therapies and the promising potential they deliver. Kirk Davis joined Cigna in 2008. Previously, he worked for a Fortune 500 financial services company as a Project Analyst and the Advisor for Corporate Training and Development, where he facilitated several leadership training courses. Additionally, he worked at a regional medical center as a Medical Social Worker where he developed a chronic pain support group, provided services to patients and families receiving outpatient and inpatient physical rehabilitation, and later served as Program Manager for the Occupational Rehabilitation Center. As a healthcare professional with 20 years of experience in developing programs and business solutions, Kirk describes himself as ‘incredibly lucky’ to have been in the right place at the right time so that he could partner with others to develop and implement the complement of services delivered through the Cigna Healthcare Gene Therapy Program.
