Kinnari Patel, PharmD, MBA is Interim Chief Executive Officer of the RTW Institute, an emerging think tank of RTW Investments focused on translating complex health and regulatory policy for the public and policymakers.
Dr. Patel is a mission-driven entrepreneurial pharmaceutical leader in R&D, enterprise value creation, operations and execution with a 20 plus year successful track record across biotech / life sciences. She has hands-on experience developing 25 drug products across rare diseases, oncology, immunology, cardiology, virology and other therapeutic areas. Most recently, Dr. Patel was President, Head of R&D and COO for Rocket Pharmaceuticals. Her prior leadership roles were at Novartis, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, Hoffmann La-Roche and Pfizer.
Kinnari received the dual degrees of B.S. in Biology and Doctorate of Pharmacy from the USciences in Philadelphia, PA, and an Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with specialization in Corporate Finance, Leadership and Strategy. Most recently, she graduated from the C-Suite Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
