Killian O’Driscoll is Chief Commercial Officer at NIBRT and a founding member of its leadership team. A Genetics graduate from Trinity College Dublin with an MSc in the Management of Innovation from the University of London, Killian also lectures in Project Management at Dublin Business School. Before joining NIBRT, he held senior roles at Microsoft’s European Operations Centre and Ericsson’s Competence Development Centre.
Since joining NIBRT in 2006, Killian has played a key role in its establishment, including leading the €40 million facility construction and launch, which earned global recognition such as the ISPE Facility of the Year and Bioprocess International Manufacturing Collaboration of the Decade. As Chief Commercial Officer, he has driven major initiatives, including developing training programs for over 5,000 professionals annually, launching the NIBRT Online Academy serving 7,800 users across 93 countries, and creating the Global Partner Programme with centres in Canada, the USA, Senegal, Australia, and South Korea.
His leadership continues to advance NIBRT’s global impact in biopharma training, research partnerships, and new initiatives such as CONCEPT, ensuring NIBRT’s position as a world leader in biomanufacturing education and innovation.
