Kfir Oved, PhD

Kfir is a physician-scientist and serial bioentrepreneur with >20 years of experience in building interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of biotechnology, immunology, engineering, and data, across therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health. He is the Founder&CEO of Canopy, developing Antigen-Drug-Conjugates (AgDC) for antibody-mediated autoimmune diseases. Prior to Canopy, Kfir co-founded MeMed-Dx, where he served as CTO (2010–2020) and as Chairman/Board Member (2010–today). He led the lifecycle of the company’s platforms from concept to development, clinical validation, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and commercialization. This included the MeMed-BV™ host-response technology and the MeMed-Key™ point-of-care platform, both now clinically deployed and used in the management of >200,000 patients to date. In 2018, he incepted the AI-driven health data company Navina.ai, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer, helping shape the company’s product, clinical, and commercial strategy as it reached ~$30M in revenues in 2025. Kfir holds dual training in Medicine (MD studies) and Immunology (PhD) from the Technion (summa cum laude). He has authored >100 patents and >35 peer-reviewed publications. He has been recognized with multiple excellence awards, including the Gutwirth Excellence Award and the Wolf Award for young researchers, and was named among the Top 25 Voices in Precision Medicine in 2019.
