Katrien Lorré holds a PhD in Immunology and a background in Biology. She gained in-depth expertise across the full development cycle of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) during her time at Innogenetics—one of Flanders’ pioneering biotech companies, now Fujirebio. With hands-on experience bridging science and product development, she has built a strong foundation in translational healthcare innovation. For the past several years, she has served as Programme Manager Health at flanders.bio, supporting the life sciences community with a focus on biotech. Following the recent merger of flanders.bio with Medvia, she continues to play a key role in connecting stakeholders across the Belgian health ecosystem.
