Justin Pine, Senior Director, Policy, Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) Justin Pine is Senior Director of Policy at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) where he oversees IP, data privacy and digital biotech policy matters. Justin has degrees in Chemistry, Philosophy, and Law, all from Boston College, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Portugal at the New University of Lisbon. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US) and is registered as an attorney in the State of New York, the State of Sao Paulo (Brazil), and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to BIO, Justin was a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, an attorney for a New York City-based tech startup and practiced law in Sao Paulo, where he advised life science firms on cross-border transactions, regulatory, and intellectual property matters.
